I think Vicki P hit the nail on the head in her review of Yelp’s Aloha Affair: “Hula dancers, roasted pigs, fresh fruit and rum punch – am I sitting 500 yards away from I-25 or on a Polynesian island?”
Boy, did we have fun hula dancing with the Kalama Polynesian dancers to the tunes of DJ Postman (Marc Hughes), stuffing our faces with Panzano pork and Petey Bird ice cream sammies, and of course downing delicious Mai Tais (or at least the closest we could get to Mai Tais ) so elegantly served by our favorite elite, Kelly T. Thank you to all our sponsors, and of course a huge thank you to the Sand Dollar Gallery for hosting the event.
